Teen Mom is an American reality television series that premiered on MTV on December 8, 2009. 16 and Pregnant chronicled the journeys of seven pregnant teenagers as they and their families dealt with the pregnancy and birth. Teen Mom follows Maci, Farrah, Amber, and Catelynn as they deal with their new lives as a teen mom and overcome the struggles of their first year as a teen mom.
